on saturday, we threw a surprise party for my dad at an ole neighborhood bar (o’connor’s) in highlandtown. the venue holds a special place in my dad’s heart — it’s where he used to walk with his father and 2 brothers anytime a holiday or family event took place at my grandparent’s house. he was very surprised and as you’ll see from the photos….everyone had a great time. i spent most of the time actually partaking in the festivities. a friend of the family took on the task of documenting the event. about 1/2 hour before things wrapped up i had to break out the lens to commemorate the day. everyone had pretty much rolled out by then. i also snagged some real “keepers” back at the house
